Edgardo
A. Vigo 1927, La Plata, province of Buenos Aires-1997. His first works were created in the mid-fifties. In 1953 he traveled to France where he met the Venezuelan artist Jesús Soto. Returning to Argentina, created wooden objects which could be manipulated by the public. From 1957 onwards he has been creating his useless machines. In 1961 he founded Diagonal Cero magazine and began his permanent international interchange movement Art through the Post Office. His solo exhibitiones took place in Buenos Aires, La Plata and Mar del Plata. |
