Porter Buenos Aires, 1941. Studied at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes de Buenos Aires and the Universidad de Iberoamérica in Mexico City. She was founded the New York Graphic Center with Luis Camnitzer and José G. Castillo and won a Guggenheim Grant. Porter has taken part in numerous group shows, including Information at MoMA en New York. The Fundación San Telmo (1990) and the Centro Cultural Recoleta (2003) have presented retrospective exhibitions of her work. Porter has lived and worked in New York since 1964. |
